About Jack
Jack joined IRP back in 2021, starting off assisting the previous Salesforce Admin with some developer work. When the time came for that employee to move on from IRP, he recommended Jack to take over his position, which is the role he is working in now.
Prior to working in IRP, Jack tried a hand at container unloading, as well as doing some short-term developer work. He completed a Bachelor’s of Computer Science from Curtin University in 2021, and IRP was the perfect pathway into this line of work.
His day-to-day is largely centred around problem-solving, finding a solution to any issues that may arise. He also runs and checks reports regularly to ensure data isn’t faulty and can be found developing features in the back-end.
Q&A
When I'm not busy with work...
I’m usually planning or running table-top roleplaying games with pals. It takes a bit of prep and a lot of coordination and scheduling, as some of them live around the world! It’s always well worth it to spend time with good friends and be involved in a story unfolding with every action we take.
What do you like about working in the recruitment industry?
As the tech guy, there is rarely a dull moment. There are always new challenges and problems to overcome and work around. It makes for interesting work for sure.
