About Charlotte
Charlotte joined IRP as a Marketing Specialist last year, shortly after moving to Perth from Ireland. In her role, Charlotte looks after IRP’s social media channels, website, email marketing and video editing, helping to promote our jobs to all candidates and services to other businesses.
Charlotte studied Communications in Dublin City University in Ireland, and then went on to complete a Master’s in Public Relations in 2020. After this, she worked as a Public Relations Account Executive in Belfast, Northern Ireland, helping clients such as Tourism NI, Deloitte NI and Danske Bank in achieving their PR goals.
Although she enjoyed the PR world, she was interested to get into the sister industry of Marketing which she felt allowed for more variety and creativity. She was delighted to have the opportunity to join IRP as their Marketing Coordinator, bringing skills such as copywriting, communication and social media strategising from her previous experience.
Since joining IRP, Charlotte has enjoyed engaging with our Clients and Candidates, helping to build on our existing relationships and form new ones.
Q&A
When I'm not busy with work...
I am walking along the Swan River to watch the sunset or heading to the beach for a sea swim. You can also find me stuck into a good book or TV show, or singing with my guitar in my room.
What do you love about working in the recruitment industry?
Although I don’t do any actual recruiting, it is still nice to be working in an industry that helps people to find work, especially when they are struggling. In terms of the marketing side of things, I enjoy getting out to site to meet all our clients and recording content with them to use across our channels.
Do you have any success stories from your time working in this industry?
When I first came to Perth, it was quite difficult to find a job due to being on a Working Holiday Visa. Thankfully, IRP gave me a chance to work with them and after a few months offered me Sponsorship! This in itself was a huge success for me and I am still so grateful that they gave me this opportunity.
