About Brittany
Brittany has worked at IRP for 5 years now working across the Recruitment and Payroll teams. Prior to her time here, Brittany worked as an employment consultant assisting the community in finding meaningful employment opportunities.

Her journey with IRP started in a Recruitment Support role where she assisted the Account Manager with the recruiting and onboarding of candidates for clients including Bluescope, Metroll and Dowell.

Brittany showed lots of potential and capability in this role, that Michelle gave her the opportunity to try a back-office position in Payroll and Accounts Payable. In this job she looks after our candidates wages ensuring they all get paid on time each week, completes month-end account recs, prepares superannuation, takes care of accounts payable and receivable, as well as some general back-office administration tasks.

After learning and enjoying this position, she wanted to continue to develop her skillset by learning the bookkeeping side of things, which is what she is doing now.

Working for IRP has given Brittany the opportunity to both learn and grow in her professional and personal life. She has been given the opportunity to acquire strong skills and knowledge in the payroll industry whilst making really good friendships within the team.

When I'm not busy with work...
Eating yo-chi or having a laugh with my family and friends. I also love to chill out in the evenings to watch the Simpsons with a cup of tea!

What do you love about working in the recruitment industry?
One of the rewarding aspects of working in payroll is ensuring that our employees receive accurate and timely processing of their weekly pay.

I also really enjoy the investigative side of balancing accounts and being able to do that in a fun work environment.
