We work with several Local Government clients who are currently looking to add experienced labour to their Horticulture teams. The role will see you working in Parks and Gardens teams to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of natural public areas. Understandably, you will spend a lot of the time in outdoor areas on your feet, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required. The roles are offered on a casual basis, where you will receive full time hours, there is a possibility of permanency with the clients in the future for the right candidates.

The ideal candidates will have a background in Horticulture Labour or experience and an interest in gardening with some of the qualifications listed below.
You must be reliable and be ready to work full-time hours.
As travel in the supplied work vehicles is a necessary, a MR licence is a minimum requirement for candidates looking to apply for these roles.
Some of the relevant qualifications we are looking for are:
- Minimum MR Licence
- White card
- Experience in Mowing, Whipper Snipping, Trimming, Pruning, Edging, Tree Maintenance
- Cert III Horticulture - preferred
- Tickets or experience with Spraying, Chainsaw, Chipper, or Small Plant Machinery - preferred
- Must have the ability to pass a full medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
- Full time work rights are a must
- Good attitude, willingness to work and contribute to the team
